About

What is there not to like about wine? My name is Dan and I have had a serious interest in wine for over 25 years. I developed my taste for fine wines while traveling in Europe many years ago. My collection includes primarily Bordeaux and Cabernet, but there are also a few others!

I have visited the wine regions in Northern California, including a lot of time in Napa and Sonoma, as well as the Monterey and Santa Barbara regions. I have visited many other areas in the US including Washington State, North Carolina, Missouri, Tennessee, New Mexico, and Georgia. I have also visited wine regions in Canada, Chile, Australia, South Africa, France, Germany, and Italy. I have completed various wine courses including: The ABC’s of Wine Tasting, California Cabernets, The Wines of Tuscany, and Bordeaux Wines, all through Wine Spectator.

As I continue my wine education, I would enjoy sharing some of my thoughts with you. I am by no means an expert, but I do know a good wine when I drink it! I hope you enjoy and if you have any questions or comments, please let me know.
